A balanced harvest, and a textbook Macán: fruit and freshness. Medium-deep, bright garnet. Precise aromas of cherry, red plum, violet, fine spices and subtle toast, with that minerality that distinguishes the project. On the palate it is fresh, fine and juicy, with polished tannins and an elegant, persistent finish. Precision before volume; drinking beautifully right now.
Around 18 months in new French oak barrels, followed by bottle ageing.
Tempranillo 100%.
Red meats, small game, mushrooms, truffle and mature cheeses.
16–18 °C. Decant for 30–60 minutes.
