A very good vintage of polished fruit, and a balanced, seductive Macán. Deep, bright garnet. Fresh aromas of red and black fruit, violet, spices and fine, well-integrated toast over a mineral background. On the palate it is fine and fresh yet flavourful, with silky tannins and a long, elegant finish. The class of the project in an approachable format; very enjoyable now, with room to age.
Around 18 months in new French oak barrels, followed by bottle ageing.
Tempranillo 100%.
Red meats, small game, mushrooms, truffle and mature cheeses.
16–18 °C. Decant for 30–60 minutes.
