Pintia 2015 — A warm, very ripe year. Concentrated black fruit, plenty of body and a long finish.
A warm, very ripe year in Toro, giving a powerful, sunny Pintia. Black ink of very deep colour. An intense nose of ripe black fruit, liquorice, spices and toast, with the fleshy stamp of the Toro terroir. On the palate it is huge, glyceric and enveloping, with ripe tannins and a warm, endless finish. A full-throttle Pintia for a grand table, still with several years ahead.
Around 12 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by bottle ageing.
Tinta de Toro (local Tempranillo) 100%.
Chargrilled red meats, game, spiced stews and aged sheep's cheeses.
